1. Search and install


This is the fastest and easiest way to install plugins in the WordPress site. Simply, click on  Plugins >> Add New, then write the name of the WordPress plugins in the search box at the top right, now you can see the plugin in Search Result. Here I searched for W3 Total Cache plugin.

You have successfully installed the plugin on your site. Now you can configure it by going to the settings page of the plugin.

2. Download Install WordPress Plugins from Third Party Sites


First of all, you have to download the plugin from WordPress repository that you want to install. After this, you can upload the downloaded.zip to your site.

Just go to the WordPress plugin page, click on Upload Plugin, then select the plugin from your computer that you want to install. Now you can activate the Upload WordPress plugin.

3. Install WordPress plugin via FTP


If you do not install a WordPress plugin using the above methods then you can use the FTP method.

First, download the plugin from the WordPress repository, then unzip it, and upload using your FTP software. Generally, the plugin is stored in the wp-content >> plugins folder.

After uploading the file, you can simply activate WordPress plugins by going to the WordPress plugin page.

We recommend you to use the Search and Upload method. Cause It is the very easiest way to install a WordPress plugin.

Whenever you install a WordPress plugin and problems occur in your WordPress site. To fix this, log in to your dashboard via FTP and deactivate that plugin.
