Best Autoptimize Settings 2019 (Updated)
Do you want to improve loading time of your WordPress site? Well, there are many different ways to improve website loading speed, but today in this tutorial, I'll show you the best Autoptimize settings that optimize CSS and Javascript on your WordPress site and improve site performance and page load speed.
The main goal of the Autoptimize plugin is to minify your website's CSS and Javascript files and improve website performance. In addition, it also optimizes HTML files.

Best Autoptimize Settings 2018 Step by Step
First, install and activate Autoptimize plugin in your site. After activating the plugin, click on Settings >> Autoptimize. This will take you to the settings page.
Here you will see two settings - Basic and Advanced setting. Apart from this, you can configure CDN.
Autoptimize Basic setting
Here select all checkboxes and click the Save changes button.
When you click on Save button after completing Autoptimize basic settings, it will start optimizing CSS, Javascript and HTML on your site.
If its basic settings do not work on your website, you need to configure Autoptimize advanced settings. But before going into advanced settings you have to configure its Basic setting.

Just click on the Show advanced settings option at the top right.
Here you will see many options. But your advanced settings will be like this,
HTML Options
Here check the box of Keep HTML comments, then proceed to the next setting.
Javascript Options
Here check the box of Aggregate JS files and Also aggregate inline JS. See screenshot below
CSS Options
In this section, check the box of Optimize CSS Code, Aggregate CSS-files and Also aggregate inline CSS.
Along with this, you can also configure the CDN to increase your Website loading speed.
CDN Options
Enter your CDN URL in the CDN Base URL field, then click on Save Changes and Empty Cache button.
Autoptimize Additional Settings
Autoptimize plugin added another new setting to its update. These settings allow you to remove query strings, emojis and Google Fonts from your site.
All these options you can find in the Extra tab.
