Also, includes fields for a name, a visual editor-enabled description, tags to allow you to categorize snippets,

After activation, This will add snippets menu items to your site. To add new code snippets click on Snippets >> Add New.



Now enter a title and code snippet. Here, we are adding custom code snippets to remove Proudly Powered By WordPress links from footer. You can see screenshot below.



After adding, you can add a description and tag for your code snippets so that you can easily understand it later, for which work it was added.



Also, you can sort your CSS code snippets based on functionality.

Once done, click on the Save Changes and Activate button. This will immediately take effect on your site. But if you want to save the code snippet only and do not want to activate, click on Save Changes button.

If you make a mistake in adding your custom code snippet, it will destroy your site with syntax error or 500 internal server error. To fix this, you have to manually delete the code snippet using FTP.
