How to get Facebook App ID and Secret Key

Have you installed a plugin related to Facebook in your WordPress site and are being asked to enter Facebook App ID and Secret Key but you have not any facebook app secret key and APP ID, then in this situation, you have to go to the Facebook developer site and create new facebook app id. In this article, we will discuss how to get Facebook App ID and Secret Key.

Creating an FB App ID is not a difficult task, and if you follow this tutorial correctly, you will be able to get Facebook App ID and Secret Key.





For this, first, you have to go to the Facebook developers page and then click on "Add a new app". As you can see in the screenshot below,

After that enter your Facebook App ID name and then click on Create App ID button as you can see in the screenshot below,

Now your Facebook App ID has been created and will also open a new page in which you will be asked to select "Add Product".





Simply, click on the Dashboard. In this page, you will be able to see your Facebook App ID and facebook app secret key.

Click on the Show button of App secret, you have to enter your Facebook account password to view App Secret key.





Now, you can copy your Facebook App ID and Secret Key and paste into the plugin's settings.
