How To Protect Your Bitcoin From Hackers or thefts

1. Phishing Attack

It is the first ways to Protect Your Cryptocurrency against Hacker.

The phishing attack is a hacking attack. In this hacking attack, the hacker sends you mail that your account is going to close or there is a problem and when you log in to your account through the login link given in that email, then it will not be the original website (Official website). This will be a clone/Phishing site that looks like the Official website.

When you log in to this clone site, the hacker gets your login details and he goes to the original website and hacks all bitcoin by logging in to your account.

If you keep any security/protection in your account, these hackers are very smart and break them with patching.

Therefore, when you get a mail in your email, do not log in to your account by clicking on the login link in that mail. First, open your browser and visit the official website and log in to your account.

2. Clone website

This website looks like the original website, that is called clone website or Phishing website. This website looks like an original website/official website, even its URL looks similar.

Suppose your account is on Bitfinex and the hacker has created a phishing website that looks like Bitfinex, whose URL has been registered with Bittfinex, in which there is only one letter difference "T".

And whenever you enter your login details at Bittfinex phishing website instead of logging in to Bitfinex's official website in a hurry, the hacker gets all your login details. After this, you know What will happen to you.

So whenever you log in to your Bitcoin Exchanges website or wallet account check the URL whether it is matching the official website or not.

3. Email ID

Do not enter your personal email ID on any unsecured websites. Suppose your account is created on Bitfinex by your personal email ID and when you see an advertisement of any earning site or Bitcoin mining site which provides very attractive offers and you do not have complete information about that website, then Do not enter your personal email ID. They may also be Scam websites.

Therefore use the alternate email ID if you do not have any information about the website and you want to register on them.

4. Mobile App

If you created your account on Bithphhex, download its mobile app by visiting Bitfinex's official website.

If the mobile app is not given on their official website or they have not officially launched any mobile app, then do not download their mobile app from Google or anywhere because they can be a phishing or clone app.

If you follow all these steps then your Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency will never be hacked or stolen.
