To deactivate the comment from a specific post on the site, you will need to edit that post. After that, scroll down to the Discussion option and uncheck the Allow Comments.
Now, the comment will be disabled from the specific post.
If the Discussion option is not displayed, you will need to click on the Screen Options and here you will have to enable the Discussion option.
If you want to disable the comment from your Multiple posts, click on Post >> All Post >> Edit >> Apply.
Now a quick edit option will open in front of you. Here select Do not Allow option.
Now the comment will be removed from your selected posts and visitors will no longer be able to comment on your article. But the old comment will appear on the post.
To deactivate WordPress comments from your Future Post or Page click on Settings >> Discussion and uncheck the Allow people to post comments on new articles box.
If you want to deactivate comments from your post after a certain time, then click on Settings >> Discussion and check the option Automatically close comments on articles older than.
Now when you publish an article and the article is 14 days old, comments will deactivate automatically.
First, install and activate the No Page Comment plugin on your site. After activating, click on Settings >> No Page Comment for configure it.
If you want to disable comments on new pages and post, then check the comments and trackbacks box.
Apart from this if you want to disable comments from all previous post and pages then click on the Disable All Comments and Disable All Trackbacks buttons under Modify All Current section.
